On Feb-2020, we purchased 2 return tickets from ITN / ASAP Tickets Services to travel on May 2020. The Cost of the tickets was $1,977.90 plus a $15.00 tip, was charged to our credit card.
On March-/2020, we contacted the ITN / ASAP Tickets Services support team to inquire about our options with regard to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic ban.
Asap tickets support sent us email to inform us that they received our Cancellation request, and we should not respond to this email.
WE DID NOT REQUEST ANY CANCELLATION. We were confused about this email, but they asked us not to respond to this email, so we ignored it. A week later we received an email from ITN / ASAP Tickets Services, stating that our booking is canceled due to COVID-19 ban, and these tickets can be used later and extended to new travel dates with the same airline, within 1 year from the date when the tickets were issued.
We waited for a while to see if travel would become possible, but as February 2021 approached, the Covid-19 pandemic is still in force all over the world, with no end in sight, and it is still not safe to travel. Also, the USA has issued advisory level 3 RECONSIDER TRAVEL DUE TO COVID-19.
On Feb-2021 before the deadline, we contacted ITN / ASAP Tickets Services by email, and requested a full refund, since travel is not advised at this time.
A Month later, we still have no response to our emails which we sent to them twice.
During this month we contacted several agents of asap tickets customer service by phone,
We were not able to get any straight answers from any of the 3 agent we contacted about refunding our money which we paid a year earlier for a trip that was canceled due to Covid-19.
Every single time we contacted them they told us they have to submit requests to the airline and to the Customer service, and that they are still waiting for the airlines response and that might take several months, and they will call us back.
We were given a complete run around.
We are at the end of our patience and no longer are willing to accept this excuse. Furthermore, we have been working for several months over the past year to rectify with no success. We contacted the Corporate office, we're still getting deceptive and false information's from the Special Services trying to shift the responsibility on to us, they said because we requested to cancel our reservation (which is a false) therefore we will not get refunds even they can't find any written Cancellation from us, but instead they claimed that we requested a cancellation on their website, (which is a false) I think this is kind of a fraud or scam to keep our money!.
ANY BUSINESS WHO TAKES ADVANTAGE OF Its CUSTOMER SPECIALLY IN TIME OF A PANDEMIC IS A FRAUD AND SCAM, AND SHOULD BE REPORTED TO CONSUMER PROTECTION ORGANIZATIONS.
This is a nightmare people do not need to deal with, in addition to dealing with the hardship resulting from the pandemic.
Our advice to anyone reading this review, please save yourself the suffering and pain you will go through if you use this company's services.
After all they do not care about you as a customer but only how to keep your money even when they were refunded by the Airlines, also save yourself the time you will waste doing what I am doing this minute. Writing this horrible review about this company
