I bought a ticket from ASAP for departure Jan 7,2021 to Cape aTown South Africa
(QN15PR) The flight was cancelled by British Airways. I then bought a ticket on another airline to depart Feb 18,2021.
With each reservation there is insurance involved ( I dont know what for) and a tip for the agent. If one happens to change the date they charge a$300 change fee, whereas the airline allows one free change.On my return Apr.6, I called British Airways who told me I should get a full
refund of my fare, but I had to deal with the agent. ( Three agents Id dealt with had left ASAP) I was told Id have to pay a penalty for an administrative fee, which is a complete rip off, as they charge each person what they liked.
For them to start the refund process, they charged me 25% of my fare. I shall be in touch with BBB
