My 68 year old mother purchased tickets from the US to UK from ASAP tickets, and also purchased the ticket cancellation cover from the gent called Cole C on the sales team at ASAP tickets !.
She was due to fly on 10th March 2020, but due to COVID-19 crisis had to cancel. Ticket cancellation policy states as long as you notify more than 24 hours in advance then it's all fine.She did as above via email and spent over 7 hours on the phone trying to get through on the 9th March, but hey its busy with the crisis so these things happen.
Cole C responded on email to say all will be fine, but he couldn't give the refund or change the ticket to another date, another dept needed to do that !
We are now 14 days on, still NO refund, I have also called customer service from the UK and spoke to Raynard yesterday (23rd March), he said he would action the claim - he hasn't.
My mum has sent an email every day since the 9th March, all with NO response, she even called today and spoke to Bradley, he said he would sort it...guess what...another LIE...
I'd like someone to take ownership and give a refund, or change the date for the ticket.
This company is a disgrace and is stealing money from elderly people in a time of extreme crisis, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
