In the first place we are sorry for this huge delay in processing the refund of your ticket, indeed as you stated in the review, American Airline processed the refund of the ticket towards our account, unfortunately due to an overloaded queue for processing this transaction, our agents are struggling to manage it in time and we rely on your understanding here, and we hope that you will understand that this does not happens on purpose.
In any case I am into your reservation for now and trying to perform a refund of the amount $1,192.00 in order to avoid any mistake i am checking with my account department if no one else processed a refund before. By Monday I will have a reply on it and if no one refunded the ticket then I will process it right away on Monday.

Bought 2 international airline tickets one year ago. Cancelled due to COVID.
Chase has proven worse than useless when it has come to recovering my money.
User's recommendation: Don't just run, speed away as fast as possible from this snake pit of thieves.
