Bought ticket way back november 18 for a trip to japan and philippines and by dec/jan 2024 they started changing my schedule. Im senior citizen and cant agree with the sched they are offering.
They said refund since we cant agree. I thought the filipino agent maisie was sincere in helping me and turned out that that s their way of scamming old customers

Overwhelmed, untill I was physically ill!
I need assistance! I'm a disabled veteran and a senior citizen with anxiety issues.
Initially, I dealt with Barnaby; he became a member of management and connected/referred me to Lucky. Barnaby and Lucky assured me that I would be in good hands with her. I had shared with Barnaby that I live in Southeastern, North Carolina and wanted a flight, preferably from Jacksonville or Wilmington. In speaking with Lucky, I told her my preference was from Jacksonville, if possible.
I assumed that we (Barnaby, Lucky and I) knew it was from NC. Somehow, I was booked a flight from Jacksonville, Florida. I'm trusting them! I received the itinerary and I read the word Jacksonville and the dates I choose to fly to and from my destination, I clicked that I accepted the arrangements.
It never dawned on me that another Jacksonville existed outside of NC.
A couple of days before the departure date, I realized the issue and contacted them about the human error, seeking an easy fix...ASAP Ticket reps, Barnaby sent a snippet from a recording that I never said NC to Lucky; I responded that she never said Florida to me and the mere fact that I live in NC should have been a major hint that I would leave and return to NC. I requested that they listen to my conversation with Barnaby prior to his promotion, they didn't respond to my request. Please note, Barnaby is the Barnaby that assisted me originally. I wonder why he didn't send me any of the recorded conversations between the two of us or recordings of the three of us before Lucky and I were being recorded.
I think, it's a case of the fox guarding the hen house, BARNABY has/had a vested interest in not sharing ALL THE RECORDED CONVERSATIONS!
The process was so horrible it literally ran my anxiety and my blood pressure so-o-o-o high I had to seek a physician, who cancelled my travel plans! Even as I set in the physician's office, their Reps were calling me about spending extra money to fly or drive to Florida to catch the flight because they didn't have any available flights leaving from Wilmington or Jacksonville, NC that entire month. After some research, I found that they fly from Jacksonville, Florida daily (human error). At that time, I felt that they were heartless, and their actions were inhumane.
Under duress, I was forced to make choices that didn't suit my needs and caused financial hardship.
Therefore, when Lance offered a partial refund as an ACT OF GOODWILL (a courtesy offered by a business to a customer) I graciously accepted it in the manner it was offered, due to his word choice (AN ACT OF GOODWILL).
I had PURCHASED additional protection in case of an emergency that allowed me a partial refund, also. When I inquired when I would be issued my money, Lance refused to issue the part that I'd purchased! I was in shock! I can't understand how as a customer he had GIVEN me a partial refund as an act of goodwill (his word choice in the document), but I couldn't be compensated from the plan I PURCHASED, for an additional $149.95..
Is it legal for Lance to renig on his offer?
Can somebody assist me? I really need to receive payment from a service I paid $149.95 prior to this non-flight!
I also, had contact with Rep Agnieszka, she wanted at least an addition $400 to exchange the ticket.

Please keep in mind when booking with this service to double-check your booking. I booked a Thanksgiving package to Atlanta.
I told them to book my flight from 11/22/2023 to return on 11/25/2023. I didn't double-check my booking because I have booked all my vacations with them. When I went to return from the holiday only to realize that my return flight was for 8/25/2024. When I asked them why would they book my return flight 9 months later?
I was told it was my fault I asked them to book it for that date. Why would I book a return flight 9 months later when I live and work in Pennsylvania? I had to purchase a new ticket at a higher rate just to get home. Then I received a call from them offering to rebook my return flight, I am already home at this point.
Also, they wanted me to pay an additional $350 for their mistake.
I accept my part in this and should have never trusted them. But a good travel agent would have confirmed the dates before booking.

I purchased tickets from ASAP tickets with the promise I would be able to select my seats. After purchasing my tickets all I got was the run around and "sir we cannot give you seat selections the airline does that when you check in".
After 3 months of correspondence with half a dozen different agents I was finally able to select my seats for a fee. Seats were purchased for round trip tickets to Manila, arrive at airport to check in only to find out ASAP tickets cancelled my flight reservation 2 days after I purchased my seats. ASAP tickets refused to give me my money back only credit of 50% of what I paid, and they charged me a $349 administrative processing fee. China Airlines was of no help.
I will never use ASAP tickets or China Airlines again. On top of all that they ask for a tip at the end of your transaction.

Forcing customers for insurance and Tip
I have been a regular customer of Asap for almost a decade. I booked recently a ticket to UAE costing almost $8k.
in March 2023 for a travel in December. I am really concerned about the way the customers are coerced or pushed to pay the tip, which is unheard of in travel agencies. It's not a reflection of the services of the staff. But the way it's linked or created is that if you don't tip, it means the service is poor which may not be case.
As a company , they are supposed to pay their staff and pay the incentives towards the ticket booking.
None of the travel agents or companies ask for a tip for booking flight/hotel tickets. It'snew precedent these guys are setting. To do your job, you need to be paid over and above ?
While the agent was good , went back and forth to create the itinerary and that's what the job demands. And I didn't get any special fares or fares lesser than the airlines fare if I had chosen them.
As a customer , I am not appreciative of this pushing gesture of your company and for a few petty bucks, you may end up losing the larger customer.
It is not legal to push anything and the buying of insurance doesn't dictate the airline fares.
For e.g. my airline fare was 7650 odd and I paid almost the same to with this company, did i get any special pricing? No, did I get any additional benefits? No, Of course the travel agent s job is to source multiple airlines and fares and give the best possible deals to the client.
It reflects poorly on their culture and the way they treat their employees and their pay structure.
And the tone after the tip was not provided was completely different was rude. Tip is at the customer s discretion.
The system is set in a way, it doesnt move to the next level unless u pay a tip, and the insurance is also compulsory.
And for records, I sent a response to their customer service team 9 months back and still waiting for the response. Hope they ban this company.

To Ask a question no one picks up the phone
British Airways did cancel the ticket but refused to refund the money. Customer service did not pick up the phone on the day of need nor picking up now.
There is no customer service in this ASAP tickets which is very frustrating.
I bought tickets from Texas to Kenya for October 16 for three persons. My husband failed to make the first flight leaving in two minutes. American and British airways refused to give him ticket and when he offered that *** buy ticket for the first segment they said they said theyre going to cancel all the tickets now he wants to need to buy all the ticket to competely. So I do not understand how how can an airline has an authority to cancel the ticket, but not refund the money.
My husband could have bought one way ticket. But return with us airline.
Did not give the choice. ASAP tickets has been not helpful at all.

On September 3, ASAP Tickets promised to refund the flight insurance fees...$129...while stating that I am not eligible for any refund...I am guessing that is as close to an apology or admission of fault. I have initiated conversations with my local, state and federal...
I purchased a replacement ticket. I was originally offered a refund. The offer was rescinded. I was offered a future flight in exchange.
Now I am told that I am not eligible for any exchange or refund.
They are saying that Qutar Airways said that I was a no show. I provided evidence to prove that I was there 4 hours before the scheduled departure time, including a replacement ticket receipt from Qutar Airways Administration office

ASAP Tickets has closed my complaint..refusing to refund and refusing to acknowledge any responsibility. They claim that they are working with my lawyer...I have not signed a contract with a lawyer for this dispute. They claim that Qutar Airways reported me as a no...
Later this offer was rescinded. Later I was told that I would receive the flight insurance fees returned...$129 in 5-10 business days..I was told that I could file another complaint at any time in the future.
I received correspondence from a different department of ASAP Tickets after posting here on Pissed Consumers. They promised to investigate and get back to me..over two weeks ago..no further response.

Too many people are having return flight tickets rejected by the airlines and ASAP Tickets staff will not be available to intercede on your behalf and you will have to purchase replacement tickets at inflated prices and ASAP Tickets is not going to refund for the worthless return flight tickets

What is your process of refund to customer?Reading other peoples BAD expeiences with asap, it looks like asap is expert on conning customers. If you really gave my booked ticket to higher price then reply about my inquiry of refund(FULL) , where i think gives you making money ( in short, scam customer.
