I wanted to book tickets for three passengers to Philippines.I spoke to the two agents regarding the booking.

I spoke to the supervisor who who processed the booking. He claims to be an expert and knows about the policy of the airlines (delta and PAL) regarding 2 free check-in baggage 50 lbs each passenger. Plus he claimed that he is familiar with Manila airports both international and domestic. I told him that I want to book tickets for three passengers and I want to claim by baggage in our final destination which is Davao.

In that way I don't have to check-out my baggage in Manila and then check-in at the domestic airport for our connecting flight knowing that domestic flight baggage policy is different from international. He sent me through email our confirmation tickets. I just found out later when I called delta and PAL (philippine airline) airlines to make sure all information still the same. I found out through PAL that I need to check out my baggage in manila and check-in at the domestic flight.

I asked why? They told me it's because when the agent purchased the tickets (supervisor), he made two different bookings by purchasing the international flight tickets separate from our domestic flight. Then I ended up paying extra weight/ baggage. When I called the agency about this problem, the agent (supervisor) who processed the booking refused to talk to me.

He made different excuses that he was busy, he was not available, he was on the other line, he was on the phone, etc. Tech support sent him messages, left him my phone # to call me back but never call. Every time I called (everyday) he had different excuses that he can't talk to me, instead he passed it on to the other staff agent to resolve it who didn't know anything about this booking. Before I purchased the tickets they always called me to followup the tickets.

They even called me late at night and during their days off just to followup in purchasing the tickets. Now after I paid the tickets and the problem came up, the supervisor refused to talk to me. It's like a scammer!!!...... I will never buy tickets from them again.

I was about to book a ticket to go to Africa , but with all these negative remarks, sorry asap you need to revise your policies. People will appreciate you more when you care after you have taken their money rather than before.

You are going down hill here, this is bad business. Revisit your customer care strategies.

Sorry to say but in your case, you will have to go through the hassle of checking in/checking out and checking in your luggage again when you reach the Philippines.

The only way that your luggage will be checked all the way to your final destination is if you fly Philippine Airlines both international and domestic.

The reason for this is because Philippine Airlines has their own Airport Terminal (terminal 2 exclusive to PAL) and if you're coming in through different airlines, you will have to check out your luggage and transfer to Terminal 2 to catch your domestic flight.

It doesn't even matter where you purchase your ticket, if it involves different airlines other than PAL, then you will have to go thru the same process.

If Davao is your final destination, then another way is flying thru Singapore Air because they fly direct from US to Davao via Singapore.

After reading 12 negatives here I went to other sites and found rave reviews for ASAP. -12 vs. +100 You do the math.

I was hoping to use ASAP for tickets to the Philippines, but after all these horror stories I think I'll stick with cheapoair.

Wow!I've been planning to call ASAP tickets since December 2015 to inquire!

I am just too busy. My brother is going to get married and all 11 of us( 2 families) plus my 2 cousins'families (8 OF THEM,WHO ARE JUST WAITING FOR MY FEEDBACK) are coming home.tHE WEDDING IS in July 2016. Now that I really need to book,this is what I find! Im so glad I accidentally stumbled upon these reviewS!

SCARY!!!!. 6 hrs ago I was watching tv and ASAP commercial came on advertising their $500 plus round trip ticket fare inclusive of tax. I told myself I better do this now!!I just wonder why ABS CBN is allowing this company to advertise on the TV station when a lot of people finds this company a SCAM!

Getting charged,phone calls at 10 pm,booking insurance that doesnt work,unknowledgeable agents and supervisors.Abs-CBN could also be liable for this!!
